MAC Rebel

Hey everyone!
So I havent posted here in a while, my laptop broke, I had no internet, lots of work, etc, etc
Anyway! This past week it was my birthday and I decided to reward myself by buying my first ever MAC lipstick in Rebel. So I have a few photos here, the casing and swatches!

First off you get your lipstick in a nice little black box which when I think about it I really do like because it makes your purchase feel that much more...luxurious? Indulgent? Like you're getting your moneys worth.

  On the bottom of each casing you have the name of your lipstick along with some other info, where it's made, etc as with many other lipsticks.






Now onto the good stuff!

Here's MAC Rebel Satin lipstick in its sleek black and silver bullet packaging and it does feel as good as it looks in quality,

...and here folks we have a swatch of MAC's Rebel on the lips of yours truly.





So what did I think of my first ever MAC lipstick?

• I did find the formula drying at times but that is pretty usual for me
• Great and strong pigmentation
• Long wear/good staying power
• The package was nice, sleek, simple and felt expensive.
• I did find it to be expensive (roughly $20 CAD, I usually buy drugstore lipstick)
• I would buy another MAC lipstick especially if it was a Limited Edition (Im definitely regretting that I didn't buy something from the Wonder Woman or Archie's Girls collections) 
• The last point I have about this is not so much based on the lipstick itself but it's about the staff at the MAC store I went into. The MUA's I came across there were friendly, nice and honest. I was debating over Rebel and Girl About Town and one of the gals told me (more than once) that the lipstick I was already wearing looked just like Girl About Town and swayed me in the right direction. They also didn't try to sell me lots of different products and helped with exactly what I wanted.
