imPRESS Manicure

I was never one of those who enjoyed going to get their nails done, in fact I never did get my nails done. I didn't want the hassle of taking them off or the pain if they broke off! Did I like the look of them? Sure.

Along comes the imPRESS manicure from Broadway Nails (find yours at Walmart if you're in Canada!). These have been around for a while and I was always interested but skeptical until one day I received 2 sets in my Influenster VoxBox.

I went ahead and tried one and I was delightfully imPRESSed ;) (see what I did there? Haha). They were easy to apply and remove and last about a week or so. Shortly after I did the second set which was so pretty. Then I couldn't stop thinking about them! I'd look at the other styles online and at Walmart, look at pictures on Instagram and try to decide if I wanted more and which I wanted.

So did I buy more? Was I that impressed? Yes!

I picked up this cute peacock feather design set. These normally retail for just short of $9 something but I was pleasantly surprised when it rang up as $7 and change.
Anyway, on to the photos already!

The packaging is this cute little nail polish looking container.

And how did they look on my nails?

Love them!
I definitely recommend these to everyone! They're under $10 bucks, easy to apply and remove, look good, there's lots of styles to choose from and they're great for a party, a night out or just your everyday life!

Here's a few shots of the other sets I have (which I received into voxbox)

Until next time!

Clinique Cheek Pop in Berry Pop

 Hey everyone!
Today I'll be reviewing the Clinique Cheek Pop in the shade Berry Pop (as you can tell from the title!).
I didn't buy the hype when these cheek pops first came out because it was all about the cute packaging and not the product itself. I swatched the blushes in store a few times and finally decided to bite the bullet and pick one up. I decided to get Berry Pop!

The design features a cute flower which I think is one of the biggest reasons people pick this up but the real winner is the product itself.

Here it is swatched on my hand and it is a beautiful berry colour. I find myself reaching for this quite a lot since I picked it up. Not only is the colour beautiful and applies well but the colour lasts me all day. I apply it at about 9am and when I'm leaving work at 6pm this blush is still poppin! It lasts and lasts and lasts!

Clinique describes these as follows "Vibrant yet natural-looking cheek colour that looks virtually powderless. In a silky smooth, stay-true formula with shades for every skin tone. That just-pinched look, simply effortless."
That is spot on.
As I previously said these do not look powdery at all and look as natural as any blush can look. They are true to what you see in the pan, vibrant as described but not over the top.

All and all it is actually a fab blusher an I'll definitely be picking up more of these and would definitely recommend them to everyone!

Definitely a must have!

-Love & luck!

MAC Pedro Lourenco Lipstick Swatches

Hey everyone!
Tomorrow MAC stores will see the release of the Pedro Lourenco Collection so here are some swatches of two of the four available lipsticks True Red (top right) and Roxo (bottom right). Both of these lipsticks are in the Amplified formula which means they are comfortable and nondrying.

True Red is an orangey red that is said to be the Amplified version of MACs Lady Danger.
Roxo is a much deeper red said to be the Amplified version of Diva.
If you love the look of Lady Danger or Diva but DONT love that drying matte finish definitely check these guys out.
There's also 2 other lipsticks available (which I didn't purchase) and these retail for $21 CAD.

Let me know if you pick up any thing for the PL collection and what you think in the comments below!

MAC Fluidline Swatches

Hey guys and ghouls!

I've been pretty into brown eyeliners so this week I decided to pick up the MAC Fluidline in Dipdown which is a gorgeous chocolatey brown (pictured below) which can also be used for your brows!

Now I also spotted another brown fluidline which was a metallic and once my peepers spotted that I couldn't stop thinking of it! Had to have it! I totally caved and went to the MAC store, paid for it and never looked back! I didn't even swatch it in store! The colour is RICH GROUND which I tried when I got home and I am LOVING it...as I knew I would!
Check it out!

Like how can you NOT love that colour?!

If you are loving the look of these check out my swatches below! (Try not to fall in love)

I have used the fluidlines in the past and I've always liked them, I disliked how quickly try dried up but I'm going to try to  take better care of them now! I'm so pumped to wear RG tomorrow as it's so gorgeous!

Let me know which fluidlines you own and love! Or which you've had your eye on! They are like Pokemon and I wanna catch 'em all!

New! Annabelle Cosmetics Lipsies

Hey lovelies, today I dropped by the drugstore (as I often do) and I spotted a display for the new (and super cute) Annabelle Cosmetics Lipsies (yes that's the name, did I mention these are super cute?). I swatched one of these cuties on my hand and it provided a sheer wash of colour with a delish fruity scent. As you can see from the picture below these come in 8 different colours/scents/flavours which all sound awesome.

These bad boys go for $4.99 a pop at Shopper Drugmart here in Canada!

I can't decide which one I want to try first!

PumpedUp! For Maybelline!

Hey babies!
It seems as though a new Maybelline mascara is starting to pop up in stores and it is the new Maybelline PumpedUp Colossal mascara! I was lucky to get my hands on it and will be trying it out shortly, not sure if I'll just do a review or if I'll do a first impression video (if I get the nerve and a good time to
film!). Either way keep an eye out!

Check out the store display below!

Love & luck.

Maybelline Dare to Go Nude

Hey loves! Looks like the new Dare to Go Nude collection from Maybelline has hit Canadian drugstores! Last week I saw a small display at Rexall and this large one just popped up at my local shoppers drugmart.
I am loving the look of the new Color Tattoos, I would be so all over them but unfortunately on myself they crease :(
Maybelline has bold and fun shades a lot so I think this nude collection will be a nice change!

Let me know if you pick anything up and what you think!

China Glaze City Flourish Collection In Lotus Begin

Hey loves!
I picked up one of the new China Glaze polishes from the City Flourish Collection. It was so hard to choose because there's so many pretty spring shades but I chose "Lotus Begin" a beautiful light purple creme shade with a cute name to boot!

The wear on this wasn't spectacular but was on par with most other polishes I've used (although no top coat was worn) but I love it regardless! Check it out below! (And check out my Instagram too!)

Love & luck!

NEW! at the drugstore! (Maybelline Edition)

Hey everyone!
So I don't know about all of you but I am constantly popping into my local drugstores to see what's new even if I don't purchase anything, I want to be up to date and see what's new. I also feel like we get things a little later here in Canada so I wan't to see new stuff ASAP!
So I decided I would start posting things that I see pop up in the drugstore. Today I have a bunch of stuff I spotted at my local Shoppers Drugmart, some of which I didn't even know existed.
e

So here we go!

Yesss! And the Baby Skin is finally here! I've been hearing about this for what seems like months. I believe it came out first in Asia and just recently showed up in stores across the US, well guess what my Canadian beauty junkies?! THAT'S RIGHT! Its here!
This is suppose to be a pore eraser and many have compared it to higher end primers such as Benefits Porefessional and the Smashbox primer.
I didn't purchase it (yet) but I did test it on the back of my hand. At first it felt very slippery (I find that with my Tarte primer as well) but after a moment or so my hand felt soft and the lines looked more filled in, I'm very curious as to what it would be like on my face!

This retails for $12.99 at Shoppers Drugmart!

Come check out some more new goodies!

Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick "Catfight" Review

Hey beauties!
I have been eyeing the UD Revolution Lipsticks since they first came out mid-2013 but the $26CAD price tag has always stopped me. This Christmas I didnt hesitate to pop a few of these bad boys on my wishlist and lucky me because my love picked up Catfight & gifted it to me.

Catfight is a gorgeous colour, it's hot pink with an edge of red that is equal parts sexy & classic. Now, let me just say, my absolute favourite lipsticks have been the MAC mattes/retromattes which, let's face it, can be drying so using this UD lipstick was a refreshing change of pace for me. The colour glided smoothly across my lips and was uber pigmented and opaque! It wore for about 4 hours and while I didnt put it to the test by eating with it on I DID have a drink while wearing it (a frappe, fyi ;]). Catfight did not leave a stain on my lips which could be a pro or con depending on whether you like lipsticks that do leave a stain or not.

Simply put, I adore this lipstick. The price is abit up there (IMO at least) but the coverage and pigmentation are fab. I am SO, so grateful that I was lucky enough to receive it as a gift and I am loving it in every way! There is a slew of different shades that are definitely worth checking out, you can find them here!

Have YOU tried out this lipstick? If so, or for anything else remember to leave me your thoughts in the comments!

And here come the pictures for good measure!

Love, Luck & A Happy New Year!
